Tahunanui is Nelsons beach in the heart of the Nelson region, known for having the highest number of sunshine hours. The beach itself comprises large areas of golden sands, safe family swimming areas and a nature reserve area.
Tahunanui for the kids and familyThe Tahuna beach area is a haven for outdoor experience for kids, with it's abundant sports fields, well equipped playground, top quality BMX biking track and various other activities available ranging from Bumpa Boats, the Hydro Slide, Go karting track and Roller Skating rink. Along with the selection of quality establishments, the area is also equipped with kids favourites both KFC and McDonalds.
